Colored Alabama teacher Fitzgerald Bouvier McQueen, 50, arrested after he allegedly shot daughter's boyfriend, 18, in chest
An Alabama teacher has been arrested after he allegedly shot his daughter’s 18-year-old boyfriend in the chest.
Fitzgerald Bouvier McQueen, 50, is accused of blasting the teenager inside his home in the early hours of Thursday morning.
McQueen, a fifth-grade teacher at Heritage Elementary School in Madison, has been charged with first-degree assault in the shooting.
According to the Madison County Sheriff's Office, the teen was a family friend who had a romantic relationship with McQueen’s daughter, a minor.
The boy was rushed to nearby Huntsville Hospital, where he was being treated for wounds that weren't considered life-threatening.
Family members identified the victim as Jaizon Collins,reported WHNT.com.
