Big Mac Attack!!! Two men shot while ordering at McDonald's drive-thru on Southwest Side - 5200 South Pulaski

Jocelyn Casas was taking an order for a Big Mac meal and a McChicken sandwich from two men in the drive-thru lane when she heard loud bangs through her headphones.

Gunshots. At least four.

“They were like, ‘We gotta go. We gotta go. We gotta go to the hospital,’ and then took off,” Casas said.

Casas and a  co-worker called police.  Minutes later, officers descended on the McDonald's in the 5200 block of South Pulaski Road on the Southwest Side, blocking off the drive-thru and marking spots where shell casings were found.

The two customers, 19 and 26, were shot around 1:15 a.m. by someone in a dark hoodie who walked up and fired shots, according to Officer Hector Alfaro, a spokesman for Chicago police.

The two wounded men drove to a convenience store near 59th Street and Pulaski, where they called police, Alfaro said.

The 26-year-old was shot in the neck, shoulder and hand, and the 19-year-old was struck in the hip, he said.  Both were taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where their conditions were stabilized, Alfaro said.
