I received an email this week from AARP with information about this.   House Resolution 890 filed by State Representative David McSweeney (R-Barrington Hills) earned the support of AARP Illinois for its advocacy on behalf of Illinois’ retirees and its unwavering resolve to not permit the taxation of retirement income. - See more at: http://states.aarp.org/we-oppose-taxation-of-retirement-income-sc-il-wp-advocacy/#sthash.FPdJGnIb.dpuf

We should tell everyone to contact their State Representatives (mine were McArdle and Mulroe) and ask them to support us in voting in favor of Resolution 890.

  Everyone;

    I Haven't checked this out  But the politicians have been trying to dip into our pensions for years ! 

 

    When they tried this year, the courts upheld the State constitution and stopped them from taking our  3% COLA  raise, and or reducing our benefits !

 

     So basically, if the state income tax remains at 3% they have successfully defeated the court ruling and stolen our raise's and when they re-raise (and they will)the tax percentage they will have by-passed the Courts and reduced our benefits !   We have to be vigilant or they will steal everything we have!

Yes....the state's democratic based Chicago elected officials have

concocted a state bill that would allow the state to place an added on

tax on all retirees living here in the state of Illinois.

Let's also keep in mind the following information:

I - All Public Service Employees Have Already Had Their Social Security Cut 66%....(WFP) Federal law.

II - The Marty Moylan Anti Police Hiring Bill that passed this year cutting off your pension

payments while employed in the law enforcement field after retirement.

An Acton Plan Is Needed: 

Please contact your state district senator and district representative and tell them NO Thanks !

Call them today before they toast themselves to another theft by deception of your pension money !

Where is our voice in the state legislature ? 

Enough is enough !!!
