Bloom Trail High School School District 206 22331 Cottage Grove Ave. Chicago Heights, IL 60411 Phone: 708-758-7000 Fax: 708-757-2209

The assembly has a group of black students performing on stage in front of the entire school chanting "hands up, don't shoot', '16 shots, 'I can't breath', 'black lives matter, blue lives don't'... Some white students on Facebook allege they had chants of Black Power hurled at them and said they attempted to leave because they were in fear.. Some students alleged they were not allowed to leave...  Another student approached Assistant Principal of Student Services, Timothy Craddock, who allegedly said he thought the assembly was 'great' and dismissed the white student who was receiving threats of violence from black students on social media. Another mother posted that her son was afraid to go back to school after the event.

Below is a Facebook of one of the students. After the post the student allegedly received numerous threats from black students that school administrators ignored. ..

This was the biggest waste of time I've seen in the school yet. If anyone did NOT like the school assembly today for any reason come see me tomorrow. We the students of bloom trail do not and will not stand for such. We need to be together! Not segregated. Share to get this message out.
