Chicago White Sox co-owner Eddie Einhorn dead at 80 - goes to the big Comiskey Park in the Sky

Eddie Einhorn, who went from being a vendor at Comiskey Park to part owner of the White Sox, died Wednesday in Alpine, New Jersey. He was 80.

His wife, Ann, told NorthJersey.com that the cause of death was complications from a stroke.

Though he hasn’t  been involved in the team’s day-to-day operations for several years, Einhorn is still listed as the Sox’ vice chairman, a role he had served for 25 years.
