Our nefarious interest need not to subdue our common struggle in other for peace to reign in university of Abuja - Comrade Murtala Omotola Giwa - Moore

Good morning my ever dogged and ever patriotic Nigerian students, it is unequivocal to note the fact that our union for the past months has been in state of quandary. I think we all know the challenges some of us encountered during the struggle towards the inconclusive election for the union to stand, some persons step aside in other for peace to reign and to uphold the ethics of union, while some that want a vibrant union often condemn any unscrupulous policy that will jeopardize our common struggle. In the work of Martin Luther King Jr he said and I quote "The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy". For the sake of our union we have to harmonize our divided interest for the functional agility of our noble Union.

We have a lot more work to do in our common struggle against bigotry, nefarious and parochial interest. I say common struggle because all form of unscrupulous interests should be opposed by right thinkers. A true leader has the confidence to stand alone, the courage to make tough decisions, and the compassion to listen to the needs of others. He does not set out to be a leader, but becomes one by the equality of his actions and the integrity of his intent. I think the viral news that hit up the air yesterday should not destabilize our union rather it should harmonize us, everything should be done judiciously for the sake of our union, we fought and we've conquered.

It is crystal clear and absolutely pertinent for we to know the gem of having a union, the most weighty aspect is to deter all form of intimidations not we intimidating ourselves, to fight against the policy of oppressors not to oppress ourselves, let me categorically inform you that for we to have a vibrant Union that will serve as mouthpiece of the students.

Our parochial interest or nefarious interest must be subdued for our common interest, we must work tirelessly towards having a vibrant Union that will ensure the welfare of our Student's is highly secured and well protected.

Ethically in unionism patriotic comrades don't support the policies of oppressors, or intimidate each others, politics and Union are two different entity, the both should not be missed together, let me tell you in this kind of struggle many intimidations will come but the only panacea to it is to ensure that unscrupulous interests are left behind for the common interest .
