Illinois Republican Congressman Adam Kinzinger is elaborating on why he may not be able to vote for Donald Trump, if Trump is the Republican nominee for President in November.

Kinzinger told “The Big John Howell Show” on WLS, “I’m even more sure that I don’t know if I can vote for him. Obviously if he’s the nominee and it’s looking like it’s a possibility, I’d like to come around to support him, but at the end of the day my whole life and my whole career frankly has been focused on trying to help my country……if our messenger for our party is somebody like Donald Trump, just because I’m a Republican I’m not necessarily going behind him.”

Kinzinger emphasizes he will not vote for Hillary Clinton if she is the Democratic nominee, but says “you know when this whole thing is over, I don’t want to be associated with the hate, and the anger of Donald Trump.   I mean look, I know a lot of people feel like he’s speaking and saying what needs to be said.  The guy is just a WWF wrestler.   That’s all he is.   He’s an entertainer.”

Kinzinger is a moderate Republican who had been the Illinois Chairman of the Jeb Bush campaign.   He is now backing Marco Rubio after Bush dropped out of the race.
