Matthew J. Dauer, 18, man tries to escape Ohio police by running through strip club - True News USA will keep you all ABREAST of the situation

TOLEDO, Ohio – A Toledo man was arrested late Thursday after he tried evading state highway patrol troopers and Toledo police by running into a strip club.

Matthew J. Dauer, 18, was being chased by Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers when Toledo officers observed the pursuit, NBC24 reports. Toledo police joined the chase and followed it down several streets.

Police put out stop sticks, which eventually deflated Bauer's two passenger tires, according to NBC24. Bauer continued to drive, headed into the Déjà Vu strip club parking lot and ran inside.

Dauer ran through the strip club and out the back door, NBC24 writes. He was found behind a dumpster by police.

Dauer is currently being held in the Lucas County Correctional Center, jail records show. He faces charges of resisting arrest, failure to comply and drug-related charges.

The man has listed addresses in South Toledo and Perrysburg.
