SOMETHING SMELLS FISHY! Paul E. Herrin Charged With Burglary After Breaking Into Home To Allegedly Save Taylor Swift
FIRST HERRIN EVER TO SMILE AFTER BEING CAUGHT
NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A man has been charged with aggravated burglary after breaking into a home to allegedly save Taylor Swift, who he said was his wife. The incident happened Wednesday when the suspect, identified as Paul E. Herrin knocked on the door of a victim’s home.
The victim said he thought it was a tenant coming to pay rent, so he opened the door far enough to see who it was.
That’s when Herrin allegedly shoved the door open and placed his foot inside, so the victim could not close the door.
When the victim told Herrin to get out of his house, Herrin began shoving the door and saying he was there to save his wife, Taylor Swift, and that he had every right to be there.
The victim was able to finally close and lock the door. Herrin then went around back to try the back door, and the victim told officers he was calling police, so he was unsure if Herrin made it inside.
When authorities caught Herrin at the back of the home, he told them he was from Knoxville and came to save his wife, Taylor Swift. He added he couldn’t reveal his source, but he had been told to look for a home with a green light over the front door.
Herrin was taken into custody without incident. He has been charged with aggravated burglary.
