Beach Park girl, 15, found in California, and Illinois man charged - Willie "Shrimp Dick" Borland

A 15-year-old girl who disappeared from Beach Park in February was found in a California motel room with a 33-year-old Beach Park man with whom she left from the Lake County suburb.

The man, William P. Borland, of the 39800 block of Torry Lane, was found with two loaded handguns, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, authorities said.

According to Lake County sheriff's officials, the girl was reported missing Feb. 10 after her family had last seen her the day before.

Sheriff's officials began an investigation and found that the girl did not have a cellphone with her and determined that she had gone missing in the past, according to a news release from the department.

Investigators issued a missing person report to law enforcement officials, including the girl's photo and information. They spoke with family members and the girl's friends but could not determine where she had gone.
