Mayor Rahm Emanuel's Black Pandering INSTEAD of Enforcement: Chicago Black Violence leads to 18 SHOT - 2 of them FATALLY

BUCKET OF BLOOD CHICAGO - A pair of colored folks, a woman and a man were killed and at least 16 other people have been wounded in separate shootings since Saturday afternoon on the West, South and Northwest sides, police said.

A 24-year-old man was fatally shot about 12:25 a.m. Sunday in the Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side, said Officer Veejay Zala, a Chicago police spokesman.

Police officers discovered the man with a gunshot wound to the head inside a parked car in an alley in the 3200 block of West Douglas Boulevard.

The man, identified as Darrell Wilson of the 0-100 block of South Central Avenue, was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:48 a.m., and no other information was immediately available, according to police and the Cook County medical examiner's office.

At the scene of the shooting, police officers blocked off a portion of the alley with red and yellow tape behind several three-story residential buildings on the southern side of Douglas Boulevard near Kedzie Avenue.

Inside the crime scene, a black car stood with both of its front doors open. The 24-year-old man, dressed in a red sweatshirt, was lying motionless in the driver’s seat of the car.

Several of the man’s family members gathered behind a metal fence in the backyard of one of the three-story buildings where they had a full view of the car and the man’s body.

A woman in a Cubs T-shirt sobbed as she pleaded with police to come up to the man’s body.

“Please, I just want to see him,” the woman cried, stepping up closer to the metal fence. "I just want see him. He’s right there.”

Another woman tried to calm her down.

“You can’t go there. It’s a crime scene,” she said.

The woman in the Cubs T-shirt continued to sob as she walked up to the metal fence and put her hands against it. The man’s body was less than 25 feet away and could be clearly seen even in the dim lighting of the alley.

An older woman, who referred to the man as her son, also stood near the fence, watching police officers work.

She turned away from the car with her dead son for a moment and looked at the back porches of the surrounding three-story buildings. A few people stood outside on those porches, smoking cigarettes, drinking and chatting quietly.

“Somebody has seen something,” the older woman said loudly. “I’ll put my life on that.”

She turned her head back to the car and started weeping. Another woman took her into a hug and lit a cigarette for her.

No one was immediately in custody as a result of the shooting.

Earlier, a 23-year-old woman was shot to death and two other men were wounded in a shooting about 9 p.m. Saturday in the Roseland neighborhood on the Far South Side, police said.

The three were exiting a vehicle in the 11400 block of South Stewart Avenue next to Haley Elementary Academy when they heard gunshots and realized they were struck. Right before the shooting, a crowd of about 20 people was on the block, drinking, police said.

The victims were driven to Roseland Community Hospital, where their car crashed, police said.

The woman, identified as Tiara M. Parks of the 9200 block of South Bishop Street was shot in the head, and she was pronounced dead at the hospital at 9:14 p.m., according to the medical examiner's office.
