River Walk Senior Residences, located at 8019 Ogden Ave. Lyons IL - Person in custody after 2 found dead at Lyons senior home

A “person of interest” was taken into custody after two people were found dead at a senior living facility in southwest suburban Lyons Monday, officials said.

A man in his late 60s and a woman in her mid-40s were found dead at the River Walk Senior Residences, located at 8019 Ogden Ave., according to an email from Lyons town spokesman Ray Hanania.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office did not confirm the deaths Monday evening.

“Lyons Police Chief James Keating emphasized there is no threat of any danger to any residents in the property or neighbors living near the property,” Hanania said.
