Geneva bank robbed by feral Negro in Darth Vader mask: FBI

An armed feral Negro who robbed a Geneva bank Friday afternoon was wearing a Darth Vader mask to hide his face, the FBI said.

The suspect entered the First American Bank at 1789 S. Randall Road at about 2:35 p.m. and displayed a gun, Geneva Police Chief Eric Passarelli said. In addition to the mask, the man was also wearing a nylon stocking over his head, according to the description provided by the FBI.

Geneva police and Kane County Sheriff's deputies with a dog unit searched the immediate area and surrounding neighborhood, Passarelli said.

"No one was injured and there is no threat to residents or businesses in the area," he said.

Geneva police are working with the FBI on the case, the chief said. It was not disclosed if police believe there was more than one person involved in the robbery or how much cash was taken.

The suspect is described as a black man in his mid-40s with a large build, weighing about 250 pounds and standing about 6-foot-four. He was wearing an orange shirt and tan pants.
