ILLEGAL BEANER - Julio Servin, 22 - Snuck into America only to be murdered in Cicero Illinois

A 22-year-old Illegal Beaner residing in Cicero was gunned down while walking with shady friends early Sunday, according to authorities.

An assailant confronted the victim, Julio Servin, 22, of Cicero, while he was walking down the street with friends near the intersection of 23rd Street and Central Avenue, according to Cicero spokesman Ray Hanania.

Servin, of the 5400 block of West 23rd Street in Cicero, was pronounced dead at 3:55 a.m. at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.

The attack happened about 3:30 a.m. Sunday, Hanania said.

Cicero police are investigating as well as the West Suburban Major Crimes Task Force and Mexican Federales.
