Charlotte agitators throw rocks off highway overpass, strike motorists

Charlotte, North Carolina erupted after an officer-involved shooting on Tuesday.

Agitators filmed themselves throwing rocks off an I-85 overpass and striking unsuspecting motorists below.

They ooed and awed as they could be heard striking several passing vehicles.

“We’re people trying to get home. We haven’t done anything wrong. I fear if we would have had to stop, they would have done something else,” one motorist said outside a hospital emergency room entrance.

It really should have been obvious from the very beginning yesterday afternoon, if we had been paying attention, and journalists were doing their jobs as skeptics looking for facts, instead of a click-bait-driving narrative.

They claimed that he was tased, then shot four times by plainclothes officers who ran up on him with guns drawn, and that they yelled “Gun!”and murdered him.

Then they claimed all white people were devils, and responsible for his death.
But Keith Lamont Scott was not shot by a white officer.

He was shot and killed by an African-American CMPD officer.

There was no book nearby.

And there was a gun, which other witnesses in the apartment complex admit seeing in Scott’s hands as officers warned him repeatedly to put it down.

Rioters Attack Truck Drivers, Loot Walmart After Black Man Shot Dead by Black Cop

Officers were serving a warrant against another individual when Keith Lamont Scott exited his vehicle with a gun and was shot dead by police, who said he posed an imminent threat. The officer who killed Scott, Brentley Vinson, is an African-American.

Scott exited the vehicle “armed with a firearm and posed an imminent deadly threat to the officers who subsequently fired their weapon striking the subject,” according to a statement from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.

‘Black Lives Matter’ supporters insisted that Scott was “disabled” and that he was only carrying a book.

Within hours, a mob of around a thousand rioters began staging unrest, blocking Interstate 85 and looting trucks before setting fire to the contents.

A picture reportedly taken by a witness moments after a black man was shot dead in Charlotte appears to show a gun at his feet.

Keith Lamont Scott, 43, was fatally shot by a black police officer in the parking lot of an apartment complex on Tuesday afternoon.

The officer who shot Scott was identified by the police department as Officer Brentley Vinson, who is black.

Vinson, a two-year member of the department, has been placed on leave, standard procedure in such cases.

Neighbors, though, said that the officer who fired was white and that Scott had his hands in the air.

The three uniformed officers had body cameras; the plainclothes officer did not, police said.

But the chief said he cannot release the video because the investigation is still underway.

No cellphone video has emerged on social media, as happened in other cases around the country.
