Charles Pugh, who admitted to having sex with a teenage boy under the age of 16, was sentenced to 5½ to 15 years in prison today.
Before being sentenced, Pugh apologized to a long list of people, including his family, friends, the people of Detroit and the Detroit school system, saying he "accepts full responsibility" for his actions.
"It's a sad day. It really is," Pugh's attorney, Delphia Burton said, noting her client is remorseful and exercised poor judgement.
