Agni-V Is A Major Weapon System With Deterrent Value: Experts

New Delhi: Emphasizing the significance of the Agni-V missile which was launched today, defence experts decribed this fifth series of the missile as a major weapons system with significant deterrent value.



"It is an intermediate range missile. Its range is approximately about 5,000 to 5,500 kilometres. It has payload capability of about 1,500 kgs," Brigadier (Retd.) S.K. Chatterjee told
