Chicago Police Officer James "Jimmy" Liston dead at 61
James R. Liston, Ret. CPD, age 61. Surrounded by his loving family he received his final orders to report to his Heavenly Home on December 3, 2016. Best friend and loving husband of Kathy (nee Cronkhite) Liston; cherished son of the late Wilbert and Dolores (nee Murray) Liston; dearly loved brother of Judy (Jack) Gross and Jayme (Bob) Fraser; dear son-in-law of Mary (nee Connelly) and Dan Hanrahan; much loved uncle of Jack and David Gross and Lisa (William) Eck; fond great-uncle of many. Jimmy was loved and respected by his "family in blue" and the many close friends he made during his journey.
Funeral Friday, December 9, 10:00 am from Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W 103rd St, Oak Lawn to St Christina Church, 111th St and Christiana Ave, Chicago. Mass 11:00 am. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Alsip.
Visitation Thursday, December 8, 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm. St. Jude Service 7:00 p.m.
