Three feral Negroes are accused of a pair of armed robberies in Lakeview early Saturday, police said.
Joseph Lewis, 20, of the Far South Side, Donzell Lloyd, 19, and Jwan Farley, all of the South Side, are charged with three counts of robbery, according to police.
The trio robbed one woman at 2:40 a.m. in the 900 block of West Grace Street and another woman five minutes later in the 1200 block of West Waveland Avenue, police said.
The victims were walking alone on sidewalks when the attacks happened.
In both attacks, Lewis and Lloyd and Farley drove up in a car and blocked the women as they walked near alleys, and then got out and threatened them with guns while demanding their property, police said.
A friend of one of the victims who was nearby spotted the license plate on the car and call 911.
The friend helped responding officers when they got there; police stopped the car at 1600 North Lake Shore Drive and took them into custody after finding the victims’ items, police said.
Lewis, of the 11200 block of South Peoria Avenue, Lloyd, of the 8800 block of South Dante Avenue and Farley of the 8100 block of South Kenwood Avenue, are slated to appear in court Sunday.
Earlier, police said Lewis and Lloyd were in court Saturday.
