EVERGREEN PARK, IL - A Feral Negro Shot in his Puffer Soup Cooler Lip while Leaving Oak lawn's Chuck E Cheese - He is uncooperative with the police

EVERGREEN PARK, IL -- A Chicago man was shot Saturday evening while driving through Evergreen Park. The injured man drove himself to the hospital, police said in a news release.

Evergreen Park police responded to a call of shots fired around 9:04 p.m. near the area of 95th Street and Spaulding Avenue. The 911 caller did not identify themselves. Officers could not find anyone who was shot or evidence of a shooting.

A few minutes later, Evergreen Park police went to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn for an ER patient who reported he had been shot while driving near 95th Street and Pulaski Road.

When police arrived at the hospital, the injured man told officers he had just left Chuck E. Cheese, 4031 W. 95th St., Oak Lawn. The man told police he was driving eastbound down 95th Street near Springfield Avenue when someone in a black SUV also traveling eastbound started shooting at the vehicle.

Evergreen Park police said the man drove himself to the hospital. He was treated for injuries to his lip and lower back before being released. The man is from Chicago and refused to make any further statements to police. He told police he would not sign a criminal complaint.

A police source said the Chicago man’s vehicle had been shot 13 times. Evergreen Park police closed 95th Street between Homan Avenue and Kedzie for several hours on Saturday evening.

There were no arrests. The incident remains under investigation by the Evergreen Park Police Department.
