CHICAGO -- A man with disabilities was killed on his way home from work this afternoon on the South Side.
The alderman for Brighton Park, Ray Lopez, tells WGN News says the man was hit after a several people opened fire on a group of suspected gang members that left a second man dead and two wounded.
Of the two, one is listed in critical condition the other in serious condition.
The shooting happened around 3:30 p.m. near 43rd and Rockwell.
47-year-old Arturo Cizumbo was killed. His family say he was on his way home from selling hot dogs at a neighborhood store and he would never hurt anyone.
Alderman Lopez says there is some surveillance video of the area but police aren’t sure if it was able to capture the shooting.
