UPDATE: Two Illegal Beaners Found Shot to Death Identified as Marco Ceja-Sanchez, 37, and David Ceja-Sanchez, 35, both of Aurora - 2 found MURDERED at Lockport Illinois residential construction site

Two construction workers who were found dead at an unfinished townhouse they were working on in Lockport this week each suffered a fatal gunshot wound, the Will County Coroner's office said.

Following an autopsy Wednesday, the office identified the men as brothers Marco Ceja-Sanchez, 37, and David Ceja-Sanchez, 35, both of Aurora.

They were identified through fingerprint comparisons, according to the coroner's office.

The two were pronounced dead Tuesday at 10 a.m. at a townhouse under construction in the 16100 block of Coneflower Drive. They were discovered by the construction foreman at 6:27 a.m. Tuesday, Lockport police said.

Lockport police and Will-Grundy Major Crimes Task Force are investigating their deaths as a double homicide, according to the coroner's office.

A partially built Lockport subdivision was rattled Tuesday by news that two construction workers were found dead in one of the uncompleted townhomes, in what Lockport police are calling a "death investigation."

Lockport Police Chief Terry Lemming released few details in a Tuesday afternoon press conference, saying that the men nor their cause or time of death had yet been determined. The Will County Coroner's office will do an autopsy Wednesday, which should help with the investigation, he said.

Yellow crime scene tape prevented vehicles from accessing the subdivision off 163rd Street throughout the day.

"There is no reason to believe the community is in danger. It appears the incident was isolated within that townhouse," the chief said. The townhouse was under construction and unoccupied. "We're doing everything we can to determine what happened here," he said. He declined to say why they feel it was an isolated incident, or say how the two died, saying only it was not natural causes.
