Illegal Beaner Denilson Martinez-Rodriguez sentenced to 5 years for sex abuse used trail as 'hunting ground'

An Illegal Beaner hiding out in Waukegan, who prosecutors said "turned the bike paths of Lake County into a hunting ground" was sentenced to five years in prison Tuesday for ambushing and sexually attacking a woman on the Des Plaines River Trail in Libertyville last year.

Denilson Martinez-Rodriguez, 22, had pleaded guilty to aggravated criminal sexual abuse in March in exchange for a sentencing range that could run from probation to seven years in prison.
