18 Detroit Cops Get Stuck In Downtown Hotel Elevator for 1/2 an hour - Then one of the cops hit one of the floor buttons and the elevator moved

Police in Detroit are investigating after more than a dozen police officers got stuck in a hotel elevator Tuesday afternoon.

Detroit Police Officer Dan Donakowski said the officers were at the Atheneum Suite Hotel on Brush Street downtown for a promotional examination when the incident occurred.

Donakowski told WWJ’s Sandra McNeill 18 uniformed officers were on the elevator for about 30 minutes until firefighters and EMS were able to get them out.
