White applicants paid $30.00 to apply to take the Chicago Police Test as Blacks were allowed to apply for FREE - No discrimination there, is there?
Just imagine if they charged BLACKS to take the test while allowing WHITES to take it for free???
The Chicago Police Department announced that historic numbers of minority candidates signed up to take the Chicago police exam. The application period for the current recruitment cycle officially ended on Sunday.
Police said during the final week of recruitment more than 1,500 applicants -- about 200 per day -- signed up to take signed up to take the test to become a Chicago police officer. The total numbers of applicants are expected to be released in the coming days.
Various departments -- including SWAT, K9, marine, aviation and equine -- visited churches, schools and community events across the city to promote the recruitment campaign and highlight the advantages of joining the police department.

I am employed in the field that handles the CPD application process. There is more to this news article than being reported. The black community have purposely flooded the applicant field with male blacks that could never be hired by the Chicago police department. These applicants have either felony convictions, drug / substance abuse problems, receiving disability payments from SSI and a host of other problems. The objective is to make the percentage of blacks actually hired vs. the number of black applicants as small as possible. Then a class action lawsuit will be filed and it will be settled by the City of Chicago, just like the $100 million dollar lawsuit that was filed against the Chicago fire department by black applicants and the city settled it.
