Big Refried Beans Phat Ass Illegal Beaner - Maria Mejorado, 35 - admits to stabbing mother to death
DELANO, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — A woman in jail on suspicion of murder has admitted to the killing of her mother in an interview with Eyewitness News.
The mother suffered double digit stab wounds Wednesday on Casey Avenue, west of Delano, according to Kern County Sheriff's Office spokesman Ray Pruitt.
Maria Mejorado, 35, was arrested. Pruitt said Mejorado is the person who eventually decided to dial 911 and report the stabbing.
"She was my mother, but she was hurting people that I love since I can remember," said Mejorado. "I've been abused a lot from her. She's been abusing me mentally, physically, psychologically, emotionally."
Mejorado said her mother was helping supervise a human trafficking ring, and that's why she said she had to kill her. She said that, at the time, "other lives were at stake."
The daughter also accused her mother of biting a chunk out of her hand the day before the incident.
"I decided to take action for myself," said Mejorado. "They drug them and they prostitute them ... I know what I did. I accept the consequences. I'm ready to go to court and accept my sentence, but I have very good reasons to do what I did."
