Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel's Sanctuary City Illegal Beaner Raul Gonzalez charged in Chinatown stabbing that left 1 dead, 3 wounded

A man was killed and as many as three others were wounded in a stabbing in Chinatown on Monday evening, police said.

Tuesday night, police announced they had charged a 37-year-old Mexican Nationalist in connection with the case.

Illegal Beaner Raul Gonzalez, of the same block as where the stabbing occurred, was charged with murder and two counts of aggravated battery. He was one of the four people wounded in the stabbing.

About 8:15 p.m. Monday, officers responded to a call of a person down in the 200 block of West 23rd Street, a Chicago police spokesman said.  They found a 50-year-old man in the street with a stab wound to the back. He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital and pronounced dead.

A 23-year-old man was found nearby with a stab wound to the groin. He was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition.
