University of Houston TX: 21-year-old Carl Conyers, Troubled Colored Son of U.S. Rep. John Conyers and former Detroit Disgraced City Councilwoman Monica Conyers missing in Texas - Las Vegas Casino Odds Are Currently: 50-50 Wild Drug & Sex Binge and 50-50 Dead at the hands of fellow Negro Violence

 The son of U.S. Rep. John Conyers and former Detroit City Councilwoman Monica Conyers has been reported missing in Texas.

The Houston Police Department is working with the FBI, Secret Service and a private search group in efforts to locate 21-year-old Carl Conyers.

Carl attends the University of Houston, and was reportedly last seen by his roommate at their apartment the afternoon of Tuesday, November 15.

Family members have shared photos of Carl online, showing him having a beard. Police say Carl shaved his beard prior to being reported missing.

Carl's father, U.S. Rep. John Conyers, serves Michigan's 13th congressional district, which encompasses the Detroit metro area. The 87-year-old is the longest-serving member of the House. First elected in 1964, Conyers won his 27th term last week.

A spokesperson for Rep. Conyers release this statement:

“Yesterday, Rep. John Conyers, Jr. and his wife Monica Conyers learned of the disappearance of their son, Carl Conyers, who is a student at the University of Houston. Rep. Conyers and his family ask for privacy as they work through this situation of uncertainty and ask that anyone with knowledge of their son’s whereabouts, contact the Houston Police Department immediately.”

Monica Conyers served on Detroit City Council for a number of years before she became the subject of an FBI investigation into political corruption in the city. She pleaded guilty to conspiring to commit bribery and served time in jail.
