A Waukegan man faces several felony charges after a traffic stop in north suburban Beach Park netted drugs and a gun with a defaced serial number, police said.
Jamar D. Neyland, 28, was charged with armed violence, two counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of ammunition by a felon, possession of a defaced firearm, two counts of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and three counts of possession of a controlled substance, according to a statement from the Lake County sheriff’s office.
