BUMPED UP DUE TO DEMAND: Illinois State Sen. Bill Cunningham, Cook County Sheriff Tom Dart & Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle - Armed Carjacking - That's just a property crime... release the criminals...

Releasing as many black criminals back on the streets to appease and solicit as many black voters as possible... at YOU AND YOUR FAMILY EXPENSE
As Chicago is being hammered with murders and shooting - letting more criminals out on the streets is NOT a good thing!

Cook County Sheriff Tom Dart and President Toni Preckwinkle have teamed up to release thousand of inmates on electronic monitoring and State Sen. Bill Cunningham's rocket docket legislation, on what are alleged to be non-violent or first time offenders... However, their definition of a non-violent offender might be a little different than yours.... Toni Preckwinkle believes vehicle hijacking is only a low level 'property crime'..

On Friday night I had the opportunity to hear Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle speaking on the Roe Conn Show on WGN-Radio during a discussion about crime in Chicago, specifically police Shootings. She said that unfortunately the shooting of brown and black people by the police were not isolated. Not her exact words, but paraphrased.

She then stated that the young man involved with two others in a vehicular hijacking was shot by the police over a property crime. As a retired Chicago police sergeant and one who has worked with Preckwinkle,  I would like to set the record straight. A vehicular hijacking involves a living and breathing victim whose vehicle was taken by force (usually with a weapon), and, no, it is not just a “property crime.” Furthermore she was dumbfounded as to why the two accomplices were charged with murder when they hadn’t committed one. By law, if you are involved in a felony that results in a death of any party, you will be charged with murder.

Tuesday Letters: Carjacking is violent, not a 'property crime'

She then stated that the young man involved with two others in a vehicular hijacking was shot in the back by the police over a property crime. As a retired Chicago police sergeant and one who has worked with Preckwinkle when she was an alderman in my district, I would like to set the record straight.
