Camp Creek Catches Two New Restaurants and a Wireless Carrier Too!

Power center adds to its roster.

Camp Creek Marketplace on Camp Creek Parkway in East Point will be adding locations of Boneheads [Fire Grilled], Chipotle Mexican Grill and AT&T.

Atlanta-based Boneheads will open in a 2,800 square foot portion of an existing outparcel of the Target-anchored center.  Boneheads recently  tweaked both its logo and tagline, dropping "grilled fish piri piri chicken," in favor of "fire grilled."   Boneheads has not a good track record as of late, with locations in both Brookhaven and a "flagship" in Buckhead closing not long after opening.  

The Brookhaven restaurant, located in TOWN Brookhaven, opened in 2012 and closed in mid-2014.  The Buckhead "flagship" on Pharr Road opened in 2014 and closed less than six months later.  A newer location in Alpharetta keeps rather strange (read: limited) hours: Monday  through Thursday 11am-4pm, and Friday and Saturday 11am-8pm.  It's unclear when the new East Point location will open or what hours they may keep. The location is absent from the official Boneheads website but is present on the official ddr site plan for the property.  

Chipotle and at&t will share a soon to be constructed outparcel next to an existing Red Lobster.  The site was previously home to a Johnny Carino's, but has been vacant since the Italian restaurant closed this past fall.  The Johnny Carino's building was demolished recently to make way for the new development.  (Johnny Carino's Italian, or just Carino's Italian as it's known today, once had at least four locations in Georgia, but now all are closed.)  

Chipotle does not seem to be slowing development amidst their food safety issues.  A number of new Chipotle restaurants are in the pipeline in metro Atlanta including restaurants in Sandy Springs and Duluth.
