Reality check: It’s safe to say that today anyone who votes for a progressive government votes for partial birth abortion, (eventual) non-consensual euthanasia (possibly with falsified death certificates), clampdowns on freedom of expression, and abridgement of historic protections for women (for “cultural” reasons), never mind traditional expectations like washroom privacy.
