As of 12/31/15 Benigno had a cash account of under $6,000 in it per the Illinois Board of Elections.
The question many ask is how does Benigno whom currently is a top democratic leader hold a powerful position but has no name recognition?
Who will be funding Benignos campaign for mayor? Will it be Thomas D. Grusecki, the powerful Northside Republican whom is the President and CEO of Northern Builders?
Per other sources, Benigno does not have a chance of winning Norridge with its 3,000 registered voters.
