Did Will County Judge Robert Brumund get shot in the hand or was it a penis pump explosion.... JUDGE WON'T SAY WHAT HAPPENED
JOLIET, IL — Will County Judge Robert Brumund shot himself in the hand over the weekend, sources said, but he was in no mood to talk about it Monday morning.
“You don’t have to write about that,” Brumund, sporting a heavily bandaged hand, said during a break in his court call.
“It’s none of your business,” the judge said as he retreated into a back hallway.
The Joliet police failed to respond when asked about the shooting Monday. A police source — who was assured anonymity — confirmed that the department was contacted about the shooting.
Charles B. Pelkie, the spokesman for the state’s attorney’s office, referred questions about Brumund and the shooting back to the police.
“We’d refer all questions with regard to the incident to the Joliet Police Department, who is investigating it,” Pelkie said.
“We don’t at this point anticipate that the department is going to forward us a case for review as it appears to be accidental,” he said.
