Illinois State Police Director Leo Schmitz UNABLE to stop or even reduce Chicago Area Negro Expressway Shootings - DAN RYAN SHUT DOWN BETWEEN 71ST, 75TH AFTER REPORT OF SHOTS FIRED

Illinois State Police have shut down all lanes of the Dan Ryan Expressway between 71st and 75th Street as they search for shell casings in the area.

State police said they received a report of shots fired on the Dan Ryan shortly after 10 p.m. Saturday.

No injuries were reported.
