A 23-year-old college basketball player was shot in the head and killed in broad daylight in the busy parking lot of a Macon, Ga. convenience store Tuesday evening, according to a report in The Telegraph.

Jibri Bryan, a graduate student from Savannah and a member of the Mercer basketball team that unforgettably shocked third-seeded Duke in the opening round of the 2014 NCAA Tournament, was found in the driver's seat of his car, fatally wounded.

The report says that the gunman was caught on the convenience store's surveillance camera footage.
