A man who was found with $20,000 worth of heroin in January became so upset his local Taco Bell was closed that he sped off in his car, crashed into an ATM and knocked himself unconscious.

Derrick C. LaForest, 33, 'laid on the horn' for at least two minutes when no one addressed him at the Pittsfield, Massachusetts, drive-through window at 1.30am on Thursday, according to the arrest report.

LaForest sped off and crashed into an ATM at speeds of 'at least 80 miles an hour', but he later told the police he had 'no idea' how it happened, the Berkshire Eagle reported.

In January, LaForest was in a car with more than 500 bags of heroin when the driver was pulled over for a defective brake light. The two men were in the vehicle with an underage girl.
