It is always amazing to me that no matter what a white person does, the media always calls it controversial - but when blacks call for harm, death or destruction against whites, police and/or society... You never once hear the media call it CONTROVERSIAL!

The decision to take down a controversial sign outside a Griffith bar Tuesday was not one of censorship, but of safety, according to its owner. (And if a black person/business was threatened with harm to change something, you think this same bullshit statement would be used???)

Griffith Town Tap owner Michelle Creech changed the marquee on her sign to "Vote for Trump/Blue Lives Matter" from "Vote for Trump/Black Olives Matter" after Griffith Police alerted her to the possibility of threats to the bar at 602 E. Main St. She was not forced to remove it by anyone, she said.

"The Griffith Police were just concerned about me and that trouble could start," Creech said Tuesday via a chat client. "They let me know what they saw (on social media) and said they would be looking out for us."

Creech has made no secret of her support for GOP Presidential candidate Donald Trump since he launched his run for office and has had words of that support on the Town Tap marquee before. She originally saw "Black Olives Matter" as cartoon on social media and decided it would be a clever marketing tool for the bar.
