A Final Closing Time May be Near at Chastain Tavern

Chastain Tavern, which opened in late 2014 on Wieuca Road in place of a shuttered Twisted Taco, is being offered for sale.  The listing by The Shumacher Group lists the restaurant for $150,000.  

The listing indicates that nearly $1,000,000 was spent to open the doors.   "Owners gutted space and added brand new renovation that included all brand new furniture, fixture, equipment, rustic wood interiors and 12 draft beer system."

The nearly 4,800 square foot, two level restaurant has its own dedicated parking and seats 150 inside and 100 outside, with an additional 20 seats at the bar.   

The restaurant is listed as "keep or convert," meaning a potential buyer could keep the business as Chastain Tavern or convert it to something else.  

While the listing refers to the restaurant as being in Buckhead, it's actually in the City of Sandy Springs.  It's literally just over the line, as Wieuca is the separating street.
