CHICAGO –  Southbound I-55 lanes at Central Avenue have been reopened after a shooting investigation.

Earlier Saturday the Illinois State Police were investigating a shooting on the Stevenson Expressway after a man was shot Saturday morning in the southbound lanes on I-55 near Central Avenue.

The victim was shot in the leg and was taken to MacNeal Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

The shooter was last seen in a gray Volkswagen driving southbound on South Central.
