CHICAGO NEGRO VIOLENCE - Pamela Johnson, 32, killed in Chicago's Gold Coast near Ohio Street and Lake Shore Drive when a group of FERAL NEGROES tried to rob her and her 43-year-old boyfriend

A woman died after she and her boyfriend were hit by a car early Sunday as they fled an armed robbery near Lake Shore Drive, police said.

Pamela Johnson, 32, was near Ohio Street and Lake Shore Drive about 1:40 a.m. when a group tried to rob her and her 43-year-old boyfriend, according to police and family. At least one person in the group showed a firearm, police said.

The two ran across Lake Shore Drive and were hit by a white pickup truck in the southbound lanes, police said.

Both were taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Johnson died there, and the man was listed as stable, police said.
