Two women were wounded in a shooting on the Dan Ryan Expressway early Sunday, according to Illinois State Police.
The 20- and 23-year-old women showed up at Mercy Hospital and Medical Center about 12:30 a.m. with gunshot wounds to their legs, state police said.
They told investigators the shooting happened somewhere on I-94 within Chicago city limits, but weren’t cooperating with an exact location or any other details, police said. A crime scene has not been found.
Their injuries weren’t considered life-threatening.
