Bernie Sanders Tells Supporters To Focus On Issues, Not Personalities
It's hard to wrap your head around the media's constant desire for conflict and strife in the political faction that represents the sanity of this nation, the Democratic Party. Yet, even on a mainstream show like Face the Nation, the host vastly over-exaggerates the small percentage of Bernie Sander's supporters who are "Bernie or Busters" and will never vote for Secretary Clinton. Period. They are not numerous enough to stress out about, when there are so many more who are willing to act rationally and who have stopped being 'ridiculous.' (H/T Sarah Silverman).
Senator Sanders set Dickerson straight and explained that we are focusing on the majority here and they need to focus on the issues, not the personalities running for POTUS. Sanders realizes this election has consequences for more than forty years, especially with so many SCOTUS seats in play in the near future. The need to foment conflict among like-minded Americans who care about education, human rights, science and other 'liberal' values is really detrimental to our safety, especially when we are faced with a megalomaniac like Trump.
