Blah Blah Blah.... Negro NYC assemblyman Michael Blake accuses NYPD cop of grabbing, slamming him into a gate AFTER HE TRIED TO INTERFERE WHILE POLICE WERE BREAKING UP A FIGHT

A Bronx assemblyman says an NYPD cop turned on him, lifting and pinning him against a gate after he tried to defuse a street confrontation between officers and two other people.

Michael Blake, 34, a freshman Democrat who represents the South Bronx in the state Assembly, said he was spared a worse fate only when a superior officer recognized him and ordered he be let go.

Blake said he filed an excessive-force complaint against the NYPD after the Saturday afternoon incident at the Morris Houses in Claremont Village.

Blake told the Daily News Sunday that he had just arrived at an annual family day celebration at the complex when he saw a woman cuffed, and another woman and man arguing with an officer.
