A 22-year-old man was shot in Grant Park near Buckingham Fountain late Wednesday night.
He was standing with a group of people in the 500-block of South Columbus Drive around 9:45 p.m. when police said that group got into an argument with several men who just exited a party bus.
Police said one of the men from the bus pulled out a gun and shot him in the thigh. He was transported to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he is listed in fair condition.
Area Central detectives are investigating the shooting. No one is in custody.
