WHITE Woman shot in Waukegan during carjacking attempt by Feral Armed Negroes
A white woman in Waukegan was shot during a carjacking attempt by armed feral Negroes early Saturday, according to police.
The woman, who is in her 30s, reported the encounter took place in the 500 block of Judge Avenue, where a light-colored four-door sedan pulled up behind her as she pulled over to park her car, the Waukegan Police Department said. The woman said she lives in the area.
Two men got out of the sedan and approached the woman's car, officials said. They tried to force their way into her car, and when they failed, one of the men shot the woman, according to police. Detectives believe the men then fled the scene traveling southbound on Judge Avenue in the sedan.
The woman's injury was not life-threatening, and she was in stable condition at an area hospital, authorities said.
Using surveillance pictures, detectives determined that the sedan could be a Chevrolet Impala and may have had two other passengers at the time of the shooting, police said.
Police asked anyone with information on the crime to call the department's tip line at 847-360-9001.
