Many artiste will film action scenes personally in order to achieve the best effects and continue to work despite their injuries.

Kevin Cheng's right eye was swollen and had 2 stitches when filming boxing ring scene in Chinese drama, Yip Man (葉問) in 2012. He was sent to the hospital in Hong Kong immediately due to his serious injury.
