"Steak 101" Coming to Vinings

Established team opening steakhouse in Vinings. 

101 Concepts, the Atlanta-based group behind Food 101, Cibo E Beve, Smoke Ring and the assorted Meehan's Public House locations, plans to open a new restaurant later this year in Vinings Main shopping center on Paces Ferry Road. 

"Steak 101," as I'm told the restaurant will be called, will open in place of Social Vinings, which closed at the end of last year, reportedly unable to find a buyer.  Plans call for some renovations to the 6,800 square foot space, but not too much, as ownership plans a spring opening.  

Sources tell me the restaurant will be steak-centric but will offer other local and regionally sourced fare as well.   

The Vinings location of Meehan's is located in nearby The Station at Vinings shopping center.
