Chicago Police: Feral Career Criminal Negro - Lamon Weathers, 19, charged in the cold blooded murder of Taxi Cab Driver Kamil Shamji

Chicago Taxi-Cab Drivers are HEAVILY FINED for refusing to pick up or for passing up suspicious looking black males

Chicago police say fingerprints from a cigarette pack and cellphone records helped them track down a suspect in the shooting death of a cabdriver this week behind Sulzer Regional Library in the Lincoln Square neighborhood.

Once they caught up with Lamon Weathers, 19, detectives were able to identify him as the shooter because he was caught by the cab's camera firing at Kamil Shamji, 58, in the 4400 block of North Leavitt Street, according to police.  Shamji's body was discovered around 8 a.m. Monday.

Weathers stole the camera as he fled but he left behind a SIM card that contained the images, Area North Police Cmdr. Kevin Duffin said at a news conference Friday morning.

The cigarette pack was found in the back seat, and cellphone records show Weathers asking for the cab at a McDonalds at 6740 N. Clark St., police said.  There is also video from the McDonald's that shows Weathers, Duffin said.

Police say Shamji picked up Weathers around 10:50 p.m. Sunday at the McDonalds. Shamji drove him to the library on Leavitt, where Weathers shot him, Duffin said.
