Boxers will do 3 rounds of drinking and then one round of boxing

Ireland’s finest is ready to face New York’s Bravest in the boxing ring on Saturday night.

Members of the Garda Siochana Boxing Club of the Irish National Police arrived in the city on Friday for the charity bout at Webster Hall.

Money raised in the good natured grudge match will help build customized homes for disabled veterans.

“This creates a lot of camaraderie between the two departments and it’s for a great cause,” said Bobby McGuire of the FDNY Boxing Club.
